        A few things to know

        • The metadata stripper creates a fresh image from visible pixels. JPEG and WebP files are re-encoded, so file size, quality, or color may change. It removes embedded EXIF, GPS, XMP, and comments; it cannot remove identifying information visible in the picture or filename.
        • HEIC conversion keeps the primary still image. Live Photo motion, bursts, HDR, and original metadata are not retained. Some HEIC variants may not decode.
        • The PDF tool creates one page per image in your chosen order. Images are fitted inside the page without cropping; transparent areas use a white background.
        • Your originals are unchanged. Nothing is saved here after you clear the files or leave the page. Browser downloads remain on your device.

        Open-source libraries

HEIC conversion uses heic-to; PDF creation uses pdf-lib. Both are loaded locally only when needed. Library versions, licenses, and source.
